LA COSTA TOWN SQUARE is a 50 acre retail center where
buildings step up & down much of the site's 100 foot of
elevation change. The layout & arrangement of the center's
anchor stores and shops produce dramatic outdoor spaces.
WDG was selected as the project Landscape Architect to help
design these plazas and create a rich retail environment fitting
its La Costa location. WDG designed site elements such as
the Plaza Screen and 6 Major Water Features to add
drama and excitement to many of the center's outdoor
spaces. These features along with numerous artist's
sculptures will help make this center a Special People Place
for shopping and entertainment in Southern Carlsbad.
