The Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation was eager to open the building that
had been moved to their property for reuse. They envisioned the new facility
as a “Discovery Center” where the community would come to learn more
about the area’s natural environment. WDG was asked to give the center a
low maintenance landscape and provide patios for group gatherings. A rear
patio with informational signage was designed to enable guest to learn about
the Lagoons systems and the area’s Flora and Fauna while overlooking
the lagoon waters.
